The team is bringing back some of the games by integrating the Ruffle emulator for the now-defunct Adobe Flash, and more than 50 games will be brought back starting on July 25th. Over the long term, “we hope to convert many of the most beloved games to HTML5,” TNT says.

Man if Neopets can recover from the stagnant maintenance mode they’ve been in for YEARS at this point, I would be happy. I haven’t done anything on that site since I was a kid, but it’s always been a fun thing to remember.

Oh wow. I remember playing Neopets back when I was in college, while I worked nights at Kinko’s. It just only just launched, only had a few games and not many pet options yet. I had a “korbat” I think.
I’m amazed that site is still around.

Wow, good timing for me, I just got back my 20yr old account last week, haha. I played way too much of Faerie Bubbles and Snowmuncher as a tween. :)

I ended up contacting support, they needed me to tell them the original email address I used to sign up (I didn’t need access to it, just needed to match their records), my birthday, and the city I signed up in, how recently I was able to log in and stuff. They also asked about my inventory, but I didn’t remember any of that. They took about a week to respond initially, but once they got in touch, they responded to my info pretty quickly! :) There were some other questions too, but I don’t remember them, haha. Good luck!! I hope you are able to get your account back too! :)

Kinda hilarious tbh. No kid today is going “to a website”. kid mini game apps are off the charts now (Roblox, HypeHype etc.) and Neopets clearly wants to dip into that but that’s clearly not the way to do it. Is it for the parents?
