    Prior to Trump taking office this bill had wide bipartisan support. I believe 14 or 15 Democrats still voted for it.

    One of the main intentions of it is to silence people who are speaking for Palestinian rights.

    Of course now it will be put to many other ends. But even if Kamala would have won, 4 years down the line we could have ended up with a Republican president. With this measure still in effect

      They’ll never do it, they want to be too Center for that, it’s the party of mildism, they are stuck in the ideology of maybe if I tippy toe further torwards republican values we’ll gain more republican votes, ignoring the fact that they are leaving their more stronger base behind in the process. It’s getting to the point where even more moderate Democrats are starting to question their vote, and ofc extremists have questioned their vote for awhile now.

      I would be amazed if the current democratic party was capable of doing anything more severe then maybe just increasing the requirements for background checks.
