The filing accuses UMG, which has deals with both performers, of paying Spotify to recommend “Not Like Us” to users “who are searching for other unrelated songs and artists,”
Hasn’t Drake been accused of this exact thing multiple times over the years?
It’s over, Drake. Just take the L and move on.
I think it was drake’s scorpion album that was suggested in everything. His face was in every genre. Basically looked like spam. Country and jazz where the ones that pissed me off. I stopped using Spotify after that.
I remember this, I was so confused. He was plastered across the home page.
Hated him since.
I had completely forgotten this guy
He fucks kids
yeah let’s remind everyone that NLU exists right when Kendrick has another huge surge in popularity that’s a great idea Drake
I wrote to spotify because I was a premium customer and my whole launch page was full with that cunt when scorpion released. I have never intentionally played his songs or visited his page on spotify.
Drake has absolutely done this to a headwrecking extent.
"No amount of contrived and absurd legal arguments in this pre-action submission can mask the fact that fans choose the music they want to hear.”
- “nah man, you just lost lol”
Bro cannot take the L 💀💀
Related? I use Spotify but with last.fm providing the playlists (my library, mix, recommended). I find their algorithm is either better or has more data, but regardless is really good at not playing the same 40 fucking songs and will give you some deep cuts as well as totally new artists…
That sounds wonderful, how do you enable those playlists?
Last.fm is classic. They’ve been in the recommendation game longer than any of the streaming services have existed.
