At the top should be “1991-2001 Ukraine must give Russia it’s nuclear missiles or they can no longer be friends, if they do give them, Russia will recognize Ukraine as an independent state and soverignty over its borders”

1991 - 2001 Ukraine gives russia all of its nuclear arsenal.

2014 - Russia invades Ukraine anyway, attempts to “anonymize” its soldiers, when caught declares them on holiday and not under its juristiction, meanwhile proclaims captured territories and population as Russian.

2022 - Russia starts a full scale invasion of Ukraine, declaring Ukraine as a country never existed, it’s always been part of Russia. Starts abducting and brainwashing children, replaces original populace in captured areas with Russians, and expedites new Russian passports for the rest.

Somewhere in there there might still be reasoning towards a red line, but I lost track of it :-D

  • Crying out “We do not deserve this!” Or “The world does not deserve this” says nothing against the facts that the American people could see this coming FOR YEARS and nothing was done, it was laughed away weakly as nonsense or misunderstood.

Where was the massive outcry and demand for proper and swift justice for jan 6th?

There should have been enormous (mail in) complaints about the delays and handling of the Trump cases.

Every tv station website or newspaper downplaying Trump’s vile rhetorical speeches should have gotten thousands of complaints, mailbags filled with them.

Millions of posters stuck on walls warning against inherent facism…

    Documentaries on Hitler’s rise…

The supreme court should have gotten so much angry mail their front doors were inaccessible…

Once, there were anti-communism boards, now clear signs and evidence of influence is laughed away, where was the outcry over that?

The 500 people that went “oh no, I will write my senator/congressman about this” made an attempt perhaps but that was easily dismissed by the office clerks…

Where were the riots on the streets demanding justice?

None of any complaints on a massive scale happened, everything was almost seen as mild amusement and easily forgotten while the rest of the world held it’s breath.

And by now, even before the new government is in office, everyone seems afraid to even speak up.

Massively demand a recount, at the least! It’s not hard to delay an inauguration, can even retroactively allow new laws to go in effect if the elections were legit if so desired.

Frankly, the US let it all happen through years of inaction and chose this fate, no ifs and or buts about it, and now it has to sit on the blisters.

The only ones not deserving this is the rest of the world, and most likely it will permanently change from this. Since the world is far greater than America it will move on and make the USA an outcast for years to come.

Ofcourse “Communism” will fill the gap quickly and try to consolidate all international power the US loses.

Honestly, I hope, nay dream, the military might wake up at some point and puts a stop to the madness before the destruction is too great, and upholds the constitution, stopping it from being torn up as well. But that branch might have been corrupted too much by now.

It will be really interesting to see how people will think of America to be “Great Again” in 5 to 10 years.

  • I am beyond suspecting, but am solidified in the thought all this media coverage is fake…

They perhaps interviewed a small number of people for appearance sake, lets say 25, and the data from that is extrapolated into a nationwide “opinion”.

And Trump reads the conclusion, proclaims in a speech that he has universal approval, other folks hear him say that and think oh well he is saying it as the grand king with the whole intelligence apparatus behind him, so it must be true.

This is what social media is about anyway (warping appearance of something) and now is rolled out over other media…

Singular thought is steamrolled over so it all goes back in submission.

And the populace sits there, eating the brown slurry dumped in their bowl…

  • It is interesting how people think he has “political” capital, or morals at all … he was carried in 2016, and is carried now, by a solid forceful group behind him who have the money to use him for their own goals. (Think about it: Trump was one guy, totally outside of the political system, and by himself alone made it to president and destroyed the GOP and the justice system)

He can’t run out of political steam now, no matter what he does, and it is naive to think he will be thwarted by democratic systems.

The USA will be torn down and remade into what a very small group of people want it to be, not what it needs to be, nor what the world needs it to be, so kiss that influence goodbye.

Untill they are done with Trump, he will be king and elections will be either “postponed” or clearly fraudulous.

Sidenote: No one took him serious when he laid out his project 2025 plans without calling it that, but it’s clearly going that way … and no one took him serious when he proclaimed “you don’t need to vote, we have all the votes, have all votes we need” months before the election… Look and behold: just about the whole country miraculously turned red in the elections … And everyone is afraid to properly investigate it.

If he dies during his reign, he’ll get to appoint either one of his children or has Vance take over, how useful either will be to the shadow government remains to be seen.

Perhaps it is a despot’s lesson the USA needs to learn, and after 10+ years, when the current children turn 18 to 20, they might realize a correction is needed and manage to get rid of the Trump hegemony.

  • What is lacking is anyone daring to make a fist and slam it on the table with the proclamation: “Enough of these transgressions! We stop them, prosecute and punish all of it now!”

But this had to have happened immediately in 2021, not the feet dragging and allowing court dates to shift 'till a few months before the election.

I refuse to believe that in case of clear criminal acts against the country of america the judiciary process can not be expedited and court calendars not be cleared for full convictions within a year.

I guess it’s also part of why Trump was elected, he promised the common folk to be the one that slams his fist on the table in their name, alas he was hiding that it was purely for his own benefit.

In a way I am now settled with the thought that the US now gets what it deserves… Alas the downside is that the US ego will fling all that stinky business far out into the world and everyone is stuck with the effects that they did not choose.

All in all, it is a good bet Trump’s presidency will expedite the downfall of the hegemony of US power and influence in the world, china and russia are rising up to lay their claim now.

  • Frankly if the US starts playing the petulant child I can see the EU make their own version of NATO and keep the us-tantrum version as a side hustle for them to ignore at will. The new version might be smaller in scope, but places/bases far beyond the EU borders would not matter much anymore.

Also, the whole NATO treaty is linked to cable and transmission espionage … If NATO breaks apart, no more spy data going to the US …

When push comes to shove and Trump flings tariffs at the EU it’ll be because he already tanked the US economy with tariffs on “chaina” and needs a new scapegoat. And he hopes new tariffs on a different target will keep the finances afloat, refusing to see his tariffs hurt his own companies not other countries.

Perhaps part of the US wakes up when things they buy now suddenly will cost double or triple the amount in 3 years time.

On the other hand, the excuse will be a perpetual state of war aggainst ever differing enemies and that will make it easier to swallow the doubled consumer prices.

Perhaps he’ll join his master Putin in attacking the ever evil EU.
