1 day agoI have never heard this bloc being called “BRIC”. Until recently the members were Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. BRICS. Why did they lose the S?

Do you remember a time where the receipt had the name of the store, the time and date of the purchase, an itemized list of what you bought, and the tax you paid and nothing else?
Nowadays there’s also a transaction id, a qr code, a coupon for your next purchase, a quote of the day, a novel, and some ads printed on there. My last order of french fries came with a piece of paper that is longer than my forearm. Ikea spits out half a metre of thermal paper when I order 2 hot dogs. Whyyyu?
Processing or transaction fees. Anytime you use your card for a purchase the bank gets a cut of that. This fee can range from .1% to 4%, depending on the credit card processor.
A typical office keeb is around $15. If you can build this for anywhere close to $150 I’m gonna take 2, please!

Not voting is basically the same as giving Netanjahu Carte Blanche to kill more innocent palestinians.
While I understand not being happy with the Status Quo there’s also always a worse option. You now elected that “Worse Option™”.
The Democrats at least call for a ceasefire in Gaza, even though they send weapons to Israel. Trump openly admits that he would like Bibi to flatten the place with no regard for human life.
But I guess both parties are the same.

Start with asking yourself why this relationship is a problem, but the last one wasn’t. If your son dated that girl for a year she must have been 15 (or younger) when they got together. This in itself is kind of a red flag.
I personally think that this specific age gap (with one partner being in high school and the other in their late 20s) is really problematic. Not due to the difference in years but the difference in maturity.
