I don’t follow hockey much the last 15-20 years or so - but the only people I heard about skipping out on pride stuff were fundamentalist Christian Americans (fml, the Staal’s are Canadian)! Not to say others didn’t do it - just it didn’t make big enough waves to hit the ‘non-sports news’ I watch.

You can go to jail for doing similar things in the private sector … I’m unsure which should be held to a higher standard tbh, but they should at least be in the same ballpark … not this “you should resign.” “no.” bullshit.
