Only a handful of words that are famous, like “Cogito, ergo sum”, and “Romani ite domum”.

When have you seen calls for murder?
I think he cares about his legacy, and thinks of himself as the greatest president in American history. He is completely detached from reality, so don’t expect logic where there is none.
This wasn’t around when I joined. I suppose this serves two purposes:
Stop conservatives from joining the instance.
An additional filter to make it a bit harder for bots to make accounts.
I think that’s killing two birds with one stone.
What was I supposed to do? HR won’t help, and I sure as hell won’t put laxatives or ghost peppers in the food as a trap for the thief like some people on the internet proclaim to do since this is a potential felony charge. Besides, I get to eat a warm lunch every day without needing to worry about a thief. Good enough for me…
Haven’t checked on FreeCAD in a while. Gonna check it out.
You’ve just described a good chunk of my family.
Book of many cheeses: by reading the incantations written inside, the user can, once a day, sommon a wheel of cheese from the forgotten farms.
That can get you in serious trouble though. Legally speaking, two wrongs don’t make a right.
Happened to me too. Didn’t know who it was. I ended up keeping my lunch in my backpack (thermally insulated container), and no one stole my lunch after that.
Agreed. My wool socks are soft and warm, everything else feels like sandpaper in comparison.
Some people respond poorly to criticism, especially when they don’t have the brain to identify they do something wrong.
I’d ignore the check engine light, it isn’t a problem, if his engine ends up dying, it won’t kill anyone. Rule of thumb is yellow warning lights (check engine, or washer fluid) can be ignored, red warning lights (like breaks) shouldn’t be ignored.
Driving dangerously is inexcusable no matter the economy. Please report him. People can die because of this kind of behavior and we as a society shouldn’t tolerate it. When you operate a multi-ton machine moving at high speed, you have an immense responsibility for the safety of everyone around you.
Pretty sure I saw a similar onion article a few years back.
I thought this was the onion at first, WTF, it’s insane. Now wait for proposals in red states to do the same. 🤢
Yes. I highly recommend it. You don’t need to get a high end gaming PC or spend a lot of money on new titles. You can go to websites like GOG (DRM-Free games), or Steam (more mainstream platform with more games) to pick up some older games at massive discounts, and they are likely to run well on your normal PC with minimal spending to test the waters. If you enjoy it and want to spend more money for a better experience with newer games, that’s entirely optional.
What kind of games are you interested in?
Not a lawyer, and I don’t recommend asking for legal advice on a random forum. From an ethical standpoint, I see it as perfectly ethical as long as it’s for personal use and you don’t give anyone access to it. With that said, if you ever sell the physical copy of the book, I think ethically you’ll have to delete all the copies you’ve made.
Just ignore the losers and write whatever you want.
Reminds me of this:
Others have given great practical advice, so I’ll give you something to think about.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics. They highlight the joint pieces with gold powder which makes the object even more beautiful and unique than it was originally in its unbroken state, embodying the philosophy of wabi-sabi, embracing the beauty in the imperfect.
Please take inspiration from kintsugi and find the beauty in your journey of repairing yourself.
