I stepped out the back door of my house when I was 12 or so. The house was on a 1 acre lot and I saw my brother at the back of the property. He threw a rock into the woods that bordered the property. He turned and looked at me and then he disappeared.
Might have been a mini seizure. Sometimes the brain just freezes up but you don’t lose balance or shake or anything. You’re just unresponsive and then it picks back up where it left off after some time has passed, without you being aware that any time had passed. Something that moved away normally would look like it disappeared.

Did you check if the rock was actually there?
