    “I’m not a fan of his politics or anything, but there’s no excuse for attacking other people’s property.” - US conservative “opinion”

          No that’s the actual definition of the word liberal. We got 300 plus years of liberal history to point to. It’s always the same song and dance. Nothing matters more than private property and Law and Order to a liberal. Everything else will be thrown away in favor of those two things. Every. Single. Time.

          Hell it’s the original sin of our nation. The great liberal thinkers of the American Revolution. Jefferson and Madison and all the rest. What happened when it came time to fulfill their ideals? What happened when it came time to treat all men equal? Oh we can’t have that if we free the slaves we would be upsetting the order of things and depriving men of their private property. Once you understand that complete and utter Ironclad rule of liberal ideology you’ll understand how the last 300 plus years of human history have played out.

            Personal liberty seems like a minimum standard. I should be able to do anything so long as my actions have no impact on anyone or anything else.

            The problems start when these liberties overlap so conplex rules of law are required.

            Actual =/= original.

            Linguistic prescriptiveness is completely useless in terms of what those terms mean in politics now.
