As the community grows increasingly rabid, I'm left wondering what players are actually expecting the game to be when it (hopefully) launches later this year.

I don’t think it’ll live up to the hype but it’ll still be a great game.

    Statistically it’s vanishingly rare for games with this level of hype to match the expectations, but it does happen.

      I’m still impressed Elden Ring managed to live up to its hype, it runs like shit but damn is it a good game
