minus-squareRikudou_Sage@lemmings.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 year agoIn the Steam Linux client, there was this line: rm -rf "$STEAMROOT/"*. If the variable $STEAMROOT isn’t defined (or is an empty string), it basically runs rm -rf "/"*, which means delete all subfolders of /.
It’s also piped to
sudo
so that’s super cool tooI sure hope there isn’t a
rm -rf
