In August 2022, she left an anti-war message beneath a large Z symbol on the side of the local theater that she passed every day on her way to work. Almost a year later, Olga was charged with “discrediting” the Russian Armed Forces.
The surgeon had to pick out of two fascist war criminals in your suggested version of the story. Sometimes the enemy of the enemy can be the safer one.

Ukraine’s defence is needed, and hopefully the issues like banning leftist parties and lesser war crimes than the aggressor get sorted as well.
