  • No. Generally, they think to themselves, “I really hope I don’t say anything that will offend any family members.” But then they comment on the “oriental rug” and get yelled at and called a problematic bigot and uninvited to any and all future family get togethers.

The red hat wearing, racist, Nazi, “fuck your feelings” caricature that the internet has made out of anyone who is not a Democrat is just as wrong and hateful as the blue haired, gender fluid, “punch my Nazi family members in the face” caricature that the internet has made out of anyone who is not a Republican.

You guys need to stop buying in to stereotypes!

Yup. You guys have got it nailed down! It’s the “backwoods country hicks” (you know, the people you constantly blame for everything) that hire illegal immigrants to maintain their pristine manicured suburban lawns.

Totally not the city suburbanites that the Harris campaign said would be their path to victory. Totally not the people who simp for their HOAs. Totally not the people who are just too darn important in their own careers to sink low enough to do their own lawn maintenance (they have to save their soft pillowy hands for their keyboards!) Not them at all!

It’s those darn “country bumpkins” that hire illegals to mow their lawns!

  • For salaried workers.

Salary workers almost never get paid overtime and generally make more “per hour” than the standard hourly wage already anyway. Also, you literally cannot be forced to work more than 40 hrs a week when salaried. This is also the terms that are agreed to by both parties (usually by contract) before employment begins. Kind sounds to me like if you want to be a salaried employee AND make overtime, that you should negotiate that before beginning employment.

I’m not getting the argument here.
