Why use two different apps? I only use Signal, and have gotten so many friends, coworkers, and family to use Signal.

The encryption method they use was made up by them, and the chats aren’t even end to end encrypted by default. Which I would argue is a larger red flag.
I wouldn’t say USA has all the encryption keys, but the fact that it is actually possible to have a backdoor is reason enough for me to not use it. Signal complies with all search warrants, giving all the data they have to law enforcement. They have never given any data to law enforcement, because they do not have access to it. Telegrams approach is to simply to spread the data to several servers in different countries, so if law enforcement wanted access they’d have to submit requests to each country (some of which wouldn’t comply).
If you have a safe, but cannot open it, do you own the contents inside? Signal has no way of accessing your data, I would argue they don’t own it.
I assume the time span was because of a certain penis potato. Sorry, I mean dictator.
I doubt it. Imagine Trump being on good terms with someone after 4 years.
There is a lot of land, and a lot of people in the US. Even if we saw people rioting, there would be hundreds of much smaller riots fighting for local rights.
I am shocked no one mentioned the possibility of nuclear warfare every day. If everything resets, what’s stopping a few people from just nuking the world on a daily basis. One country does it first, the next day the other country does it back in retaliation. The entire world may just suffer horrific deaths every single day. Even if it only happened once, the trauma of living after having experienced it once would be enough to ruin peoples mental health (I guess you could say it would nuke their mental health). I cannot imagine people finding peace and living freely. I imagine it would be endless suffering.
That’s not true. The wealthiest people in the world are abusive as fuck. Is it possible she’s swimming in mountains of debt that outweigh her value? It’s entirely possible. But it certainly isn’t a guarantee
Okay, now I am curious, how are password managers a pain in the ass to use? Mine has only made my life easier and better. Even my non-tech savvy wife (whose password was the “I forgot my password” button) uses bitwarden extremely smoothly. Her password game has made a full 180 with very little instruction from me.
You should check out the book “Recursion” by Black Crouch. Probably won’t help with your nightmares though
So, run Chromium?
That is the coldest take I’ve ever heard.
According to the Article:
Google in Russia has been inactive since 2022 after the search giant effectively pulled out of the country following Putin’s special military operation.
They didn’t start with that fine, it was just compounding interest
The court imposed a fine of 100 thousand rubles ($1,025) per day, with the total fine doubling every week.
And regardless, Russia can’t block Google’s operations in Russia because Google isn’t operating in Russia since the war. Russia is trying to fire Google when Google quit 2 years ago.
I do think Harris will win, but the fact that it’s this close is disconcerting.
The most popular games will likely continue to get pirated, all this will do is guarantee that some small vintage games are lost to time.
Even worse. I’ve checked out digital eBooks and digital audiobooks from my local library. And I listened to those audiobooks for FUN. The AUDACITY!
Audacity is what I used to record those audiobooks so I could listen at my own pace, btw.
May I could check out a paper copy of those bits, would that be okay? Then it’s not a digital copy
Hopefully you aren’t driving any buses while you’re this high.
It’s not never ending red flags. In fact, I see lots of green flags from signal. Telegram, though, that’s a different story.
