I love Sync’s theming and looks but Infinity for Lemmy is also looking promising.

There are a lot more customization options in Lawnchair compared to Pixel Launcher so that’s one.
I’ve cut out most “for profit” social media. Main reason being is that the UX on a lot of clients for the Fediverse are miles ahead and aren’t bloated with crap.
Most of the Play Store is already ads to be fair.
Yeah, you’re likely right but it would be nice to see some improvements like the split screen search shown or the web version. Right now everything is in one column which seems like a waste of space.
Captchas also compromise your privacy. When you run across a Captcha, the technology might keep a permanent record of your phone or computer identity that can track everywhere you go online.
Humans also fiddle with a computer mouse or move around a touch screen phone in a “very human way,” Graham-Cumming said, so the ticketing computer might scope out how the cursor is moving.
Not sure why privacy is brought up if it seems to be equally as bad?
Hopefully this also makes it to ChromeOS given they leaned towards the “large screen devices” wording. Would make browsing easier.
Don’t quote me on this but I don’t think this is possible/easy to do without root. Last I heard the recents screen is handled by the original launcher. There might be other ways though.
Yeah, I also do wish the glide typing was a bit more accurate.
Yep
I use Thunder because it’s the most M3 looking app but still pretty functional.
I use Florisboard with a custom M3 theme. If I remember I tried a bunch of keyboards and ended up sticking with FlorisBoard.
Assuming “fuck you” money is along the lines of being able to give away money without feeling a hit, I think it would be very interesting to use the money to donate to small open source projects to help them grow and expand with new features and resources.
Perhaps a solution to this would be using an app like Mastodon Redirect? The app does the work of getting instance links so they can be automatically opened and there is also a variant called Lemmy Redirect for Lemmy. The catch is that both developers need to support it and users have to enable each instance manually or run through various commands to do them all at once.
