There’s like a billion sources, but I think in the story, the horse was supposedly left by the Greeks as an offering to the gods (Poseidon?) for safe passage home across the sea. And then the Trojans saw the Greeks had left, and stole the horse to fuck them over.

But the Greeks had anticipated that, and were lying about leaving anyway. They knew if they left it there, then the Trojans would steal the horse and bring it into the city, so they hid inside and then sprang out to kill the guards and open the gates for the rest of the army. So it wasn’t a gift for the Trojans. Also, I think somebody did say that it was a trap, but they were ignored or killed somehow

Isn’t most of the insurance for liability? I can see a logic where older cars are less safe, and thus accidents are more likely and would cost more, hence the higher costs. But I’m just guessing.

They basically put cones on the contestants (like the ones that you put on your cat/dog to keep them from licking after surgery), then grated Parmesan directly into their mouths for a minute to see how much they could eat. And they were competing against their previous best, which had competed against their previous best. It was chaos. Game Changer is an amazing show

I don’t think I’m a very good DM, but all of my players ask me for DM tips when they’re doing another game or one-shotting or whatever, so maybe?

I love this! And if you find yourself afraid to even entertain an idea, perhaps you’re afraid that you’ll find it convincing and accept it. We should WANT to be convinced, because that means the different idea holds more merit than our current belief!
