Nope, there’s toxicity there and it’s widely complained about on Reddit (including women themselves) - especially concerning the first two subs i mentioned. Have you considered you’re one of the toxic participants?

If you’ve participated in any women-centric sub on Reddit you’ll know what I’m talking about. Try r/Askwomen, r/FemaleDatingStrategy or r/feminism. The toxicity on those subs is over the roof.

Something similar might happen if women-centric instances (not even communities) are created. Kinda like a hexbear-esque situation.

Not exactly the point. Spaces reserved for a specific community of people alone tend to be breeding grounds for extremist viewpoints and toxicity

Hmm interesting context i didn’t know about. It would seem to me, however, that this is only a reflection of the direction the party leaders are taking the party towards and not actual sentiments of party members. The democrats are a huge contradiction basically.

The way i see it, the global center-left refers to political ideologies and parties that advocate for a moderate form of social democracy or progressive policies while still operating within a capitalist framework.

In America, center-left describes individuals or movements that align with progressive or liberal values which includes things like support for social welfare, promoting civil liberties and backing environmental initiatives.

Although I’m not American, this is how i usually see them being portrayed in the media, so i could be glossing over some things.

You never outlined why you think the US is untrustworthy. I am however saying that regardless of the facts, China is just as untrustworthy if not more so.

If that’s your stance, then i can also say the same thing about the US:

“Saying the US does propaganda and censorship as like a ‘you can’t trust them’ justification is ridiculous though”.

I don’t think i need to have done any of those things to make assertions about China. Saying that China doesn’t engage in propaganda spreading and censorship is peak naivety. You know you can be a communist while also criticizing its model example right?

Hell, I’ve conversed with some of the most ardent communists on here, and even they concede China engages in censorship and propaganda spreading

Saying that the Chinese government censors news from their citizens and attempts to spread propaganda about themselves to the outside world doesn’t make sense to you?
