61·2 months agoWhenever I work on bigger projects, I use JetBrains IDEs, when I just want to edit a single file I use KWrite. VSCode barely has any use to me anymore (especially due to its lack of proper auto-completion compared to JetBrains) except for html/react projects.

This makes me think, what happens in countries like the Netherlands that use “shark teeth” markings on the street mostly in addition but partially instead of yield signs… either chaos or everybody is driving more carefully (unlikely)
they’re not required, only the update manager thing wants you to. if you update via dnf you don’t need to restart 90% of the time

11·3 months agoTaking a quick look at the source code, it seems like they use map libre for displaying the map which is open source. The only thing not open source are the JawgMaps servers, which serve the tiles for the map in the app. This means that there are no closed source libraries running in the app/on your phone, the only thing happening is the app sending HTTP requests to JawgMaps to load tiles.

Oblivious or obvious?
finally someone who provides a solution to the problem!
- trains can drive at higher speeds than buses
- train wheels don’t emit microplastic particles like bus tires do
- trains are significantly safer than buses
- trains move on tracks which results in them moving in a stable and predictable way while buses often shake more which can result in people feeling sick (happens to me often when taking the bus)
I like to think that he forgets, keeps trying and then makes a new post about it
this one would be the alternative
Grammarly can be quite useful to people who are not dumb but have dyslexia.
