Samaa mietin itsekin, mutta sairaalloinen on hiukan liian vahva ilmaisu ilmiölle. No, kuitenkin: vähemmän mainosspämmiä elämiimme, vaikka paskajulkaisujen (pidän brittien termistä “rag” tämäntyyppiselle lehdistölle) kritiikittömät jutut itsessään sellaisia usein ovatkin!

Tämä on erittäin kovaa faktaa. Jotenkin kuitenkin tulee sinne ajauduttua välistä - katson tämän sellaiseksi “kukaan ei tilaa Seiskaa mutta suurin osa päätyy kuitenkin sitä lukemaan - call it morbid curiosity” -ilmiöksi.

p.s. mikä on suomenkielinen ilmaisu em. englanninkieliselle ilmaisulle? Hyödyllinen mutta samalla kirottu engelska valtaa aivoista ja ajattelusta tilaa, kotimaisen tappioksi.

On a sidenote, does anyone know a site or a document that would list and explain the settings in about:config? Sure, you can find some partial lists and articles from the web, but there must be more comprehensive materials on them too. I havent been able to find such documents.

Its happening on both my laptop and big computer. FF updated to latest on both, only extensions Ublock Origin, Block HTML5 Autoplay and Zotero. Doesnt work in different networks.

Accessing the same sites with Brave or Vivaldi, no problems. It sucks ass and I’m certainly not the only one with this problem. Why the heck does this problem keep popping up with FF periodically, judging by both FF and CF support forums?

Having Cloudflare work with Firefox would be much more useful. Having horrendous problems with CF+Firefox this past month, always get stuck in the infinite captcha loop.

Cloudflare has pretty much banned me using FF as of late and it sucks ass in a bad way.

On the Finnish homelesness part: you’re spouting misinfo, knowingly or unknowingly. Our system doesnt buy houses or apartments to anyone.

Every homeless person though IS offered a flat in a socially subsidized, very cheap price as part of a social program and/or place in a substance abuse coliving program-type of thing (not sure on the spesifics of those).

Its weird how there’s so much misinformation about Finland in Lemmy these days, like were some magical egelitarian happy-land. No, we just pay our taxes and have built up a social security net, though thats actively being dismantled by our right wing government these days.
