Women are a commodity to the Pro-life crowd. Just get another one if this one dies.
Mass movements can do lots of things, but we can’t even get a majority of people to vote…
Trump voters wanted this. Non-voters and $hill Stein voters helped the Trump voters…
The fringes of the political “wings” (left and right) seem similar to me, not so much in policy but in the rabid, simplistic attitudes and outright derision constantly sputtered.
Christ, what an asshole.
Too late, fuckface…
Yeah the protests seemed to have mostly stopped since the election. They achieved their goal of disenfranchising Democrats and getting Trump elected. Whaaat? Yeah I said that. To those who are about to yell at me, I ask this: Who exactly was the protest leadership? I don’t mean your local organizer. I mean who was directing the protests at the national level. I sure as shit don’t know. And if Gaza is sooo much more important than Sudan, the decade long civil wars in Syria and Yemen, the forced relocation of Afghan refugees in Pakistan, and whatever the fuck is going on in the Congo, why have you stopped protesting?
Don’t know that, didn’t say that
Not division, just facts. Millions sat on their hands rather than do the bare minimum to forestall whatever the Hell the right wing is going to unleash on us all. There are plenty of reasons why Trump won and lazy shits who wouldn’t vote in light of Project 2025 are absolutely part of the problem. I’d tell you all to go fuck yourselves, but you already did…
Don’t forget, the non-voters are just as complicit as the Trumpers.
“Free speech” is newspeak for limited, curated speech.
Oh look, the NYT is suddenly reporting an actual issue with Trump Co. instead of casually sanewashing him. Too late. We will spend decades fixing this sh*t. Literal decades.
We owe commercial real estate investors exactly jacksh’t. This is, at least in part, about securing income for commercial landlords. Their “jobs” aren’t any more precious than anyone else’s jobs that are being impacted hard by this changing era. If they would like to fill their buildings, they can fork over some cash to convert parts of them to housing.
I wonder what the pleasant folks over at Hexbear think about this…
Dude, basic reading comprehension implies heavily, to the point of truth, that my comment is about people IN ADDITION to Trump voters.
Non-voters, third party throw away voters, and the “low information voters” all got together to let this happen. Participating in society isn’t that hard. Hope y’all figure that out by the midterms.
This was his cornerstone campaign promise. And y’all voted for it either directly by voting for him or indirectly by not voting at all.
Don’t act surprised.
Thanks, non-voters!
I would have more respect for high voter turnout during state and local elections. Those are more important than the presidential election.
In a few months y’all be praying for the normalcy that was Biden.
