Electric cars are certainly preferable to gas cars, but the whole car industry I’m general that are needed for both gas and electric cars are bad. Roads, parking lots, highways, the lights needed to keep them lit, the process of mining enough materials to make electric cars. The issue in my opinion is that cars in general are awful for the environment and just quality of life, they’re better but I hope we can shoot for higher.

I totally agree, I’ve found Lemmy to also be quite boring, my feed consistents of 90% memes and politics. With nearly nothing about my more niche hobbies.

I use Privacy Badger to just help block trackers and stuff, I think Firefox has this built in though now

Snapchats been so bad recently, constantly spamming ads for paid features I don’t want. The top spot of my friends list is a stupid AI, and the dark mode looks atrocious.

In not sure if its the only one, but on Voyager you just have to go settings then general and the option to mark as read on scroll is there. Its super convienent though!

For me Voyager marking on read when you scroll past a post is just a killer feature
