Same as the other reply, I don’t disagree. Do I think there’s mal intent? Nah. But I’m sure this has an unconscious effect on how we perceive women. Besides lots of women look young without even trying, I think with the improvement of medicine and public health, people in general are just looking younger nowadays so we should nip this habit in the butt.
Also does anyone find it odd how often society calls grown women girls while they stick to men when referring to men without a second thought? I still do it when I’m not paying attention.

There are those types on both ends of the spectrum and it’s much more socially acceptable to be on the conservative end and be like that.
When conservatives and liberals use the term, it means that person who’s on their high horse, that thinks they have superior virtues and morals because of their far left ideals and thinks they’re better than others because of it. And the point is that they don’t have better morals and they think they do. Of course people like that exist. But the term gets thrown around at anyone who seems to have very common sense morals in my leftist opinion.
Get woke and be proud of it. Take back the power of the term. Honestly not even the left does that so I don’t expect anyone to actually do that. But isn’t it ridiculous to bully people over that? “Oohh you accept other people’s differences?? WOKE!!” Uhh thanks?

Don’t buy junkfood/sweets, cook or bake healthy versions of junkfood instead. But avoid artificial sweeteners, they mess with your gut biome. Add less sugar to things. Just look for zero added sugars on packages. Bam, easy. 🙃

But I do think that falls under right wing with a sprinkle of social moderate leftism but even so, the debate of “can gays have the same rights as all of us” takes away from the ultimate leftist pov of “we should all have better material conditions as a class, including minorities”.

I’m just an outsider looking in but isn’t today’s political climate in the US more of a result of more democratic voters having lost so much faith in the democratic party that the majority just stopped voting? Rather than more people turning Republican? After Biden their downfall became so apparent (does anyone best Biden in incompetence? The man could barely string words together) and Kamala just seemed like a reflection of that.
I have so many mixed feelings. Mostly anger though.

And you could argue, like some other replies said, sometimes “boys” is used in casual ways, “girls” is used as an equivalent to “guys”, it can mean “gals” too. Fair points but I do believe people have some kind of aversion to “woman/women” and won’t ever use if in a fun context. it’s just an uptight sounding word for some reason.
