Is there any way to defend Biden’s failed policies without mentioning Trump?
Is there any way to defend Biden’s failed policies without mentioning Trump?
Republicans rage daily about something or another. Even after winning the election they still need something to hate.
Good question. Pressure your employer or HR about it, they have the power to pressure the managers of the fund to divest.
Divestment has worked for large institutions; for example my university divested from some industries with bad human rights abuses.
“Trump did worse” is not a principle.
Thank you! It’s been so aggravating, it’s like they are unable to defend Biden’s awful policies without saying Trump’s name.
Who are “these people?” There’s a wide spectrum of pro-Palestine voters. Those who voted for Harris, those who voted for Stein, and those who voted for Trump. We’re not the same.
And in the end, Harris lost by a margin greater than all the Arab-American voters and greater than all the college students in swing states or Muslims. So repeatedly blaming this on this specific issue is obviously silly and not backed up by facts. If you wanted more turnout then actually promise something, not “I’ll continue whatever Biden did and will make no promises for peace and won’t even let Palestinian-Americans endorse me at the DNC but I expect you vote for me and my lack of promises because Trump is worse.”
He’s made many many comments against trans people. It’s not just his supporters; he himself called transgender a mental illness.
Is that 5 or 6 billionaires in his cabinet now?
Depends on the religion.
For Muslims, we are told that God gives respite to people; so that after they die and they face hell they will beg to be sent back so they can undo all the harms they did, and will be told no because they were mercifully given extra time on earth to do that and refused.
If you care you’re a good person. If you pretend to care in order to network then you’re being mildly manipulative.
Yes this is rage bait using an old meme from back when Johnny Ive was working for Apple; the top MacBook is from 2015 and for the last few years they put back MagSafe, HDMI, headphone port, and SD card readers.
If you’ve got no idea then why argue?
There isn’t a competition in the market between Malaysian washing machines vs Chinese washing machines, in reality the tariffs will affect Chinese goods mainly, and any industry will raise prices to pocket the difference as we saw in the above example. It was more than just a single appliance that raised the prices.
Netanyahu truly doesn’t care about them, which is why he’s refusing deals that return all the hostages in exchange for a few weeks of ceasefire then permission to resume bombing.
If that were a valid explanation then why is the bill banning any adult recognition of trans adults?
There’s a different conversation on whether to allow gender affirming therapy for minors.
Just waiting for him to overdose on the ketamine he’s so fond of.
Correct. Trump’s 2017 tariffs raised the price of foreign made dishwashers by 20%. American manufacturers also jacked up the cost of their appliances, in order to match that price that customers were paying for the other brands, pocketing the difference.
We tried this in 2017. Trump put tariffs on dishwashers, and American companies just raised their prices to match, pocketing the difference.
This was tried under Trump the first time and it was an abject failure.
Trump’s tariffs raised the price of foreign made dishwashers by 20%. American manufacturers also jacked up the cost of their appliances, in order to match that price that customers were paying. As a result there was no incentive to change consumer behavior and there was no boost in “buying American.”
No that’s just you putting your opinion and spin on it. You and Trump would prefer that they teach “slavery wasn’t so bad” or that it’s overblown? Nowhere does anyone teach that slavery is the primary part of American history.
Read the article, it talks about “slavery” and not the examples I gave above.
A little, but they lost many many votes by shutting out any pro-Palestinian voices from the DNC. They wouldn’t even let Palestinian-Americans endorse Harris at the convention, let alone talk about Palestinians suffering (but they stacked the convention with Israeli-Americans and families of hostages).
