I’m an anarchist not a tankie thank you. Typical lib behaviour to assume though. Very helpful to your case.
He/him queer anarchist

Despite what you may have been led to believe, anti-genocide groups have never spent “all their effort” on electoral politics. You’re choosing to spend your time right now bitching about those fighting oppression rather than joining the fight.
Good work.
Wtf are you talking about? Free Palestine protesters are still actively organizing their communities and providing support where they can. The same groups are literally still staging actions and fighting for the freedom, liberatation, and survival of Palestinian people at home and abroad. Who do you think you’re clowning on with this meme? The people fighting against genocide didnt just give up because we have a new worse president.
I had no idea wtf to do when I first encountered one of these.
I used transmission for years, but the larger my library got the more issues I had. Currently using Qbit and loving the categories for easier management, especially with the *arr suite.
“Guess that minority shouldn’t work there then. It’s a good thing we have fair, gainful, and plentiful employment where every company with a hiring bias is perfectly balanced out by another company with the opposite bias. I sure am glad our perfect egalitarian society ensures that the minority’s kids are fed clothed and housed until they find work at an exactly comparable company - with the same exact pay - that hires minorities.”
If he’s literally harassing people you should take action. It sounds like that might not be the case though, since neither LBZ nor .world have recent record of mod actions against Blaze other than you guys power tripping and removing a post critical of you - only to then restore it after it gained traction on c/PowerTrippingBastards.
I’ve only seen Blaze be critical of you and the other mods here. If that’s what you’re referring to, then it isnt harrasment but dissent against you and the other mods’ abuse of power. If you’re referring to some other instances of Blaze harassing community members, then take impartial action to protect the community and dont complain about it here.
Hey Link I think you’re confused, this isnt LibertyHub.
Oh nooo did you not like the consequences of making a unilateral and extremely unpopular descision? Better start silencing the dissenters quick!
Sounds like moderating based on vibes 🤔
I dont have to prove shit to you and you aren’t trying to understand. If you wanted to understand that trump is a fascist or Kamala isn’t any any way a communist, you can find PILES of jourlism and academic works discussing those topics - you just have to leave the right-wing news media bubble.
Your entitlement to my time and this space as a place where you can demand proof for basic political concepts is the absolute definition of sealioning.
A_Very_Big_Fan doesn’t seem to have an issue with it.
Weirdly defensive.
I dont remember that decision on y’alls part as particularly controversial, rather the drama - from some non-blahaj members - surrounding Ada’s announcement following it.
We’re talking about moderation policies here after all, not any one user.
Also, it was in PugJesus’s post about his departure that you first mentioned that the 196 mods had already been discussing moving to .world. A comment that you’ve subsequently deleted. Seems odd to bring it up at that time if it wasn’t in some way related.
I dislike most big .world communities and the centralization of Lemmy, but I’m glad you guys feel confident in your ability to cultivate the same community in a larger and less curated space.
Yea, the community didnt give consent to be constantly embattled with people from a less queer friendly (let alone queer oriented) instance.
I’m glad to hear that my presumptions are false. Please tell us what you’re referring to so that we dont have to speculate.
My money’s on they don’t want Ada going over their heads and mandating that neopronouns will be respected. That’s the only high profile drama that I’ve seen on Blahaj in many months. They can call it differences on the back end all they want, but I have to see this as a move away from pro-trans moderation policies, since they’re leaving the instance that’s explictly pro-trans.
I strongly disagree with this decision and the reasoning behind it. Blahaj is, in my opinion, the best place for this community specifically because of the strong moderation and policies of Ada and other admins here.
Lemmy.world is also the worst instance I can think of outside of the big three tankie instances. It contributes further to the centralization of Lemmy as a whole (since 196 has been one of the most active communities on the entire platform). In my opinion, the .world crowd’s liberal and pro-colonialist/capitalist tendencies are a terrible fit for this community.
I’d have rather seen Blahaj defederate from .world than 196 move there, even if it meant less content and engagement. At least the cultural values of the community wouldn’t have been compromised.
You want Orpheus or Redacted. I’m not on either yet, but supposedly the interview to Orpheus isn’t too bad. RED is also notoriously hard to keep your ratio on.
You could also work your way there through the invite forums on the trackers you already have, if they have them and you’re in good enough standing to access them.
Do you not know what an anarchist is? Its okay to admit it. Anarchists oppose authority and all unjust hierarchies.
Every time I make a comment (very high bar you’ve set for determining my political activity level BTW /s) calling for the liberation of all oppressed peoples, I’m talking about Uighurs, Palestinians, Indigenous peoples, the working class, and anyone imprisoned or oppressed by hierarchical power structures.
Go read a book.
