“Fascist asks fascist tech buddies to out non fascists”
Ah yes, the famously communist Russian Federation. The RF is nakedly an imperial fascist regime that doesn’t even have communist window dressing, it boggles the mind that self-proclaimed communists and anti-imperialists support them.

I’m not the one asked, but since i am owner of an old ass myself i’ll chip in. My solution would be to reduce the desktop resolution if desktop readability is the problem. 4k is probably not the resolution you are gaming at? even if you do, you can just select a lower desktop resolution and crank it up when gaming (if the game supports scaling). other than that i can only recommend using magnification tools for the desktop and i don’t think there are any solutions for games that don’t bring their own scaling.
for my part, i use steams big picture mode as uion the tv, which works on any resolution.
was gonna say, no such guide can be considered complete without fmhy; i wouldn’t send them to repackers, since every pirate desires different types of treasure (even for games it depends on the system, someone might look for the games he played on the psx in his youth)
Thats actually pretty helpful, thanks!
and keyboard commands can easily be mapped on either back buttons or onto a virtual menu on the other trackpad - with mode shifts you can define a huge amount of keys which are easily accessible
from what i experienced in the last 15 years of psychotherapy: a good therapist wants you “functional” in the sense that you can live your life without major self-induced hiccups and with as much self-determination as possible, and not “functional” as a machine. But it seems that even this aspect of healthcare gets corrupted by for-profit healthcare - the people going there are probably expecting to just get fixed like a car (which means you will land back at you therapist or psychiatrist sooner rather than later), and the medical institutions have an incentive in not really fixing your issues.
but Apple Karma is so wrecked, it’s hopeless
i already use heroic, but my issue is that there is nothing where i can add ALL games regardless of source; in playnite i was able to add everything from amiga 500 games over ps2 games to current pc games, with great costumisation, integration of steamgriddb, addition of pcgameswiki links, the ability to start scripts and programs at the launch and the end of the game, is well controllable by gamepad (heroics gamepad support works, but where your selection jumps if you press up or down is a bit of a mystery; and pressing b to return to your library after looking at a game places you cursor somewhere not clearly defined, not to the last selection.) and offers a huge selection of plugins.
the heavily armed free-fire warzone nazi casino kindergarden lol
I want to add here my deeply missed Playnite. There is nothing under Linux that comes close. I’ve settled for the combination of steam, heroic and lutris, but that is not even close for sure.
The last information i found is from 2015 (the one that looks like MacOS). There are no direct backdoors on the installation medium, although it is trivial to deliver one with software updates since the repositories are under state control. What has been found is a mechanism that attached the hardware id of the pc to any file that is opened, allowing to trace through which hands a file has gone. there was also an “anti-virus” that is a censoring mechanism, deleting files with predefined content.
for GOG Games you can use the process i described here; just download the offline installers and go from there.
(just a small remark: lutris sometimes chooses the wrong executable to run, especially with unity games (it tends to select the crashhandler instead of the game exe) - if you run the game and nothing happens, check the settings.
hmm kinda number 3 (no debt but no savings either), most of number 4 after a few rough years and a coin toss on 5 depending on season, time of day, my mental load and at least one variable i haven’t nailed down yet
I for my part would rather like to use the microwave for Hi-Power WiFi (and you can hold a bag of popcorn into the datastream for nutrition too!)

for the longest time, i did know that game theory did not have anything to do with “games” and that it is somehow connected to the prisoners dilemma, but the concept as such wasn’t very clear to me. If you are like my former me, take 30 minutes out of your day and visit https://ncase.me/trust/ to learn and play around with game theory; it’s a great webpage and it’s pretty good fun all around.
The rental car agencys in Austria and Germany had a huge amount of those. They didn’t sell well because of the optics, but if you needed a replacement car because yours broke down, they were awesome and always in stock.
Tbh, with stuff like Winget and the respective GUI apps the process for installing or upgrading software is pretty much the same nowadays.
For everyone who doesn’t want to read the links: important to note is that had the french activist accessed his protonmail account using any vpn (including proton) or the protonmail .onion site, they would have had nothing useful to report. also, it looks like they only logged the IP after being ordered to monitor access to the mailbox.
It also seems that they were quite frustrated that they couldn’t resist in this case, mentioning the inappropate usage of anti-terror laws against what in reality were squatters (which in turn compelled the swiss judges to grant the monitoring).
