Ah, I see what you mean
Ah, I see what you mean
They do now
Yes, but we don’t have only those two points.
It’s well known that most people have one specific value, so much so that our entire number system is based on it (literally the base, it’s ten)
It’s also always wrong. Infinities are like that.
Laurelin and Telperion
For 10 to not be the median it would also have to not be the case for the majority of people (just the plurality at best), and while I don’t have proof handy I’m pretty sure a vast majority have exactly 10, making that the precise median and the mode. Only the mean would be a different number of digits. (Both definitions)
And one that loses only 1 second per year is right only once every 43,200 years.
That is true but I feel it’s still uneven. Assuming I want to be there, if I mess up they can just not invite me back.
Those who set the rules (what ‘messing up’ even is) are still in a position of power over me in that sense - I can’t get them fired (those positions are paid) the same way they can just dismiss me.
I am of course perfectly fine with this, and am not seeking to move up in the hierarchy. (But it is possible to do so.)
Also you know literal volunteering, like for a charity.
I volunteer at a non-profit on weekends, and that places me in a position of extremely little power, way below the board of directors and the executive director and I’m choosing to be there.
I really just don’t get the original statement, not sure what it’s trying to say.
Tiny Toon Adventures, then Animaniacs.
Kinda giving away my age, but Animaniacs was right around the time I just started appreciating characters such as Minerva Mink and Hello Nurse.
I really hate this trend.
Same. One of the first things I did (after rooting it) was find the kernel ‘files’ to make it stop at 79%. Battery life seems about the same as the first month I got it.
I also have a Wear OS watch (TicWatch Pro 3) that I manually charge to about 79% (with Tasker to alert me on the phone when it’s there) and it’s still using only around 30%/day after nearly 4 years.
Still rocking a Galaxy Note 7?
For April Fools, Cards Against Humanity was literally selling diamond studded potatoes for $69.99 (USD) - and claimed a $1000 value, which I’m sure they would be at retail prices.
The FAQ said they had thousands of them, but I didn’t get there in time.
Before I proposed, my (now)wife and I discussed this and we did some research, then went with Moissanite.
She has a ring with a huge very shiny stone that doesn’t break when it hits something, and we both also still have some money left.
It’s awesome that all these other options exist as well!
(Similarly, we got married at home with a friend as an officiant* and only close family present. It was great.
*He had earlier gotten himself ordained by mail so he could officiate the wedding of his own daughter.)
“I can neither confirm nor deny…”
Note that it makes them go faster directly because the orcs believe it does, they are a collectively psychic species, so if enough of them believe something, then it’s true.
Some apps show as incompatible with my tablet (Lenovo Y700 Gen 2) even though they work fine. I can often share those from my phone directly in the Play Store.
The article says I could use Files going forward, but it doesn’t work - Quick Share is missing entirely on the tablet and I haven’t found a way to enable/install it
Naturally it’s a feature I actually use.
Maybe keep askandroid in reserve for when that time arrives
