The issue is that a lot of companies are being performative in that representation. They’ll make a commercial positively representing trans people, and then quietly destroy their DEI initiative and lay-off their trans employees. They’ll make a big show of supporting the LGBT community…until it cuts into their profit margins, and then they’ll gladly make a show of pandering to fascists. We can’t really reward these companies or call them allies when clearly the only thing they actually care about is money. To them, any representation they give is a happy accident on the path to shaking us down.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I know my sizes and have places to shop online. Femboy apparel is also a rapdily growing market, and I try to keep fresh with new sites.

I’m just a weird romantic. I like the nostalgic idea of going to a mall with friends, trying on some clothes, and buying maybe one thing. There’s a lot more issues with buying things physically in general now, beyond just my niche. Finding a mall that doesn’t scream “beached whale” is tough nowadays, so it’s just longing for a simpler time.

I’m also kinda an asshole speaking from a place of privilege, because I live in a place large enough to have a queer district where I can thrift. That’s basically Femboy Aeropostale. I just think it would be cool if there was a chain that catered to femme attire for men.

Need more places that sell crop tops and skirts in men’s sizes :( most of the places that do are selling fetishwear that’s kinda poor quality. Also, I personally hate ordering things online, and prefer being able to try clothes on in a store before I buy them, but that is very heavily discouraged for people who look masc.

Edit: Just so other femboys know, there is one brick and mortar store you can absolutely go to; your local queer thriftstore! If you don’t have a local queer thriftstore…idk man that’s a sign to move in the current political climate. My post is more just saying we need more.

Really excited for this. Skyrim doesn’t have the greatest combat system, but Oblivion is the bastard middle child between Morrowind’s dice rolls and Skyrim’s more free system. Trying to go back to it now, even heavily modded, is really rough, but the world and stories told in Oblivion are a lot better than the constant radiant fiesta of Skyrim.

Part of what’s made this project such an arduous monument of effort has been them making sure Bethesda can’t shut them down. Using other people’s IP in mods is totally allowed by Bethesda, and always has been, as long as the mod is wholly your own original work. If Skyblivion took the easy path and imported the models of Oblivion, that might have been killed by Bethesda. Instead, they’ve taken on the ludicrous challenge of recreating a game down to the last detail, and it gives them total legal immunity.

Just saying that if the people who are meant to be fans of your supposed game of the year are tearing into the dozens of issues the game has, most of which were solved in POE1, it doesn’t have a very strong argument.

Pretty sure most POE2 players would disagree with this.

I mean, the most telling part is the instance where most of the triggered users were from. Little hint, it wasn’t blahaj or any other queer-friendly instance.

I live in a place that gets pretty cold during winter, typically between -10 and 0 fahrenheit. They absolutely grip the leg tight and can get sweaty in the summer, but kinda necessary for winter.

For spring and fall I usually pair them with shorts or skirts for cutesy reasons, but this meme is v accurate to my winter experience.

If I remember correctly, the issue last time is that they wanted us on permanent Daylight Savings Time, instead of Standard Time. So I expect Trump to force the U.S. onto permanent DST, just because all science says it would be worse for us than going to Standard.
