Why do you say PIA isn’t private?

Lame and simple, but: It’s still a privilege to be here. I am grateful I was born when and where I am.

Maybe it’s because I like history, but while I want things to be different, and do what I can to push for them to be, I still get to live in a world that’s better than most of the time’s I’ve read about.

I think we have a tendency to visualize our populations’ struggles against a lens of what could be better, which is a good thing because that’s what leads to progress. The unfortunate downside to this is the mental health aspects that can evolve from not recognizing how far we have come despite the challenges.

Other than memory size, why do people prefer xfce these days? I use it in https://nowsci.com/webbian/ to keep image size down, but use Gnome on my machines.

I will say, this FINALLY fixes my main gripe.

The “new tab” page used to be in the history of the back button, and when you’re on it, there is no forward button.

So when you hit bacl one too many tines, you couldn’t go forward. Now you’re last back ends on the first non-start page, which is way better.

The interesting part to me is that you can watch football even when/if you can’t play football, but you could be gaming instead of watching.

This is not at all surprising. Almost all hobbies and sports are like this.

The only difference that makes this interesting is the fact that you could be gaming while watching about gaming, which is untrue for many other hobbies.

It’s an ongoing experiment that devolved into taking apart the mqchine andreplacing the broiler due to a manufacturing defect. The experiment will resume this month.

Have you read up on Ozempic, Wegovy, etc? They are a new, safe, weight loss treatment via injection. I was blown away to learn that more than 1 in 17 adults in the US have used them.

React Native is big because ot was first. Stats I’ve seen show new apps leaning towards Flutter since Dart compiles native, unlike RN. RNs native parts are written in Java, and personally I’ve found Flutter to solve all the issues I had with RN.

For instance, large image galleries were simple in Flutter, and required all kinds of memory management in RN.

That being said, I still like RN a lot, so don’t take this as me bashing on it.

I’m curious on this, why? There are many people in Russia who disagree with what is happening, but have no way to access information without monitoring or censorship. This is what Tor was made for.
