Might be a year before Nvidia’s next 60 class card is out. They usually release from highest spec to lowest.
This is a strange comment when the article is about the launch on December 12th. Maybe the joke went over my head?
I’m not trying to make an argument that donating the inventory would have been profitable for them. I think we’re talking past each other. Have a good day.
I liked what I played of Daggerheart, and its hope/fear. I just don’t think it would translate well into s video game. They’re very different mediums and I don’t think it’s crunchy enough to play well as a video game.
Ironically, I think a Critical Role game doesn’t need to really be based on any ttrpg. Could just be an action rpg.
You absolutely can write off the full value of the product as a charitable donation, and I said nothing of profit. Of course they wouldn’t financially profit, but they would be getting rid of inventory they are sitting on and spending money storing, and obviously wanted to offload.
And as for why, are you serious? Good PR is not valueless. Can you imagine the stark difference in headlines between “NZXT launches program with rates worse than an illegal loan”, versus “NZXT supplies gaming computers to children’s hospital” or even "NZXT new major sponsor of [insert huge eSports league] "?
Which is good if someome wasn’t aware of the controversy at all.
Yeah, there is a lot of risk. So they could instead just not rent out last gen PCs at exorbitant prices. They could, say, donate that inventory to a children’s hospital and write off the value.
The president cannot create laws or change the constitution themselves. That’s what the legislative branch does.
Yikes. This is not going to go over well.
Well in contrast to the other comments so far, I loved the original and remakes so far. I don’t mind that they are split into different games and in fact think it is allowing them to expand on the game in ways I’m enjoying. I love the combat, voice acting, minigames. It’s such a solid hit in the nostalgia center of my brain. It’s very much got the vibe of “this is how it always looked in my head when I was a wide-eyed ten year old”. Can’t wait for the last part!
I mean… Nintendo has released several devices with physical buttons that fold. They sold famously well.
Also, you could read the article. There’s a massive picture of the patent with, shocker, physical buttons.
Never going to happen. You’re in the company of the people who have been saying “year of the Linux desktop!” for three decades or more.
I don’t why you get an impression from the original infographic that it implies even distribution. I don’t get that at all.
What exactly is deceptive about that?
Supreme Court has already signaled that gay marriage is on the chopping block.
I’ve read this for years but never personally seen it.
While you do need to be careful about this bullshit, things do actually often hit lows for black Friday sales. Particularly electronics.
What do you play and on what settings? I know the 1080ti was a beast but it must surely be showing its age.
