Any idea if BPI-WiFi6 has Tri-Band mesh capabilities?

Depends, do you have pihole/unbound setup to only recursively resolve? Or do you forward requests to an upstream (either as a fallback or just as a primary). If that’s the case, and depending on your threat model, you’ll want to set up DoH or DoT as your DNS requests will be forwarded in plaintext
Don’t forget get questioned by your manager/scrum lead as to why its taking so long to get out.
Well, I’ve had the PR ready for 3 days and the team asked me to make changes today
While I also use a custom domain with simple login, I feel like it does take away from the anonymity a bit. So sometimes I use my custom domain, others I use theirs.
I have meetings from at least 9-12 every day, which are the hours I’m the most focused. So rough
Has there been any information about how long physical access is needed for these attack methods to extract data?
I’ve got my auto restart set at 8 hours, in graphene’s mastodon thread, they say 10 minutes is best for highest levels of security. The short time frame given in that thread makes me wonder if these exploits give instant access to data.
It’ll just cache telemetry locally then send it in when you reconnect to the network

I have been using Gadgetbridge for several years. The developers are very active, with the nightly branch being released daily. I’ve collaborated with some of them to debug issues and add support for new devices.
I’ve used it with multiple watches and a scale. While it doesn’t provide insights or interpretations of your data like proprietary apps do, it offers complete control over your data. I’ve been planning to set up a SQLite to InfluxDB/Grafana translation layer to obtain more detailed statistics.
I can’t find anything online about them moving off of aws.
This “outlet” is barely a news outlet and keeps getting posted on Lemmy recently…
Edit: over the past 12 days OP has posted 7 articles posted by the same user. I think I see what’s going on here…
I haven’t played around with tails in a while, are updates lagging?
Edit: just tried this and it didn’t work. Proton bridge only listens on 127.0.0.1 and doesn’t accept incoming connections due to security concerns.
If I were in your position, which I am and will probably end up doing this, is vpn into your home network and just connect to the local IP of your bridge server.
WG tunnel on F droid allows for you to auto connect to your wireguard server when you leave your home net, and auto disconnects when you get back on your home net.
Personally, I’m unsure if proton bridge listens for external request or if it only accepts requests from localhost? If that’s the case it may be an issue.
One can only hope. Sponsor block helps a lot with that as well, FYI!
Honestly one of my favorite uses for AI at this point. Summarizing videos and extracting key points to scan as opposed to watching long videos.
I used to use Keepass and sync thing and would consistently run into conflicts between my desktop and mobile entries. Maybe there’s a better way to do it that I’m missing, but that was very annoying
Yeah, Immich has been on my radar for a number of years, but I’ve read a lot about breaking changes being a pain to deal with, and I’m a bit busy as it is right now with work and other personal projects to tinker too heavily.
Will take a closer look as I hear a stable release is planned soon.
i downloaded it after the news the other day. Presently uploading >200gb of pictures.
Android App has a few quirks, not very snappy, but it looks pretty polished.
The on device ML seems to be pretty accurate once you start tagging people.
We’ll see how it handles me throwing the 200gb at it because it was already stuttering a bit when scrolling through ~15gb of pics.
I havent had the chance to spin up an immich instance yet to compare the two.
All in all, we might need to wait for a longer term user to chime in, but as of now to me it seems good enough.
Edit: 2 weeks later. I installed immich on a proxmox node with a rtx 2060 super passed through. it flies compared to ente, which is to be expected as immich isnt e2ee. I will most likely maintain both libraries for now, but Immich is definitely a more complete product.
nice! ill give this a try tomorrow
Seems like pretty old hardware.
