I use Lemmy almost exclusively. Mastodon and Twitter never appealed to me, as I simply don’t see the point. Unless you use it for receiving info from local authorities and such.
I do still use Facebook for all the local and niche communities, which you can’t find anywhere else. I wish Mobilizon was more equal to Facebook Groups and had an actual mobile app.

It’s true I want hours of playback, but in the car, it’s possible to draw up to 100 watt from the outlet and in trains you have 230 volt outlets. At least in Denmark.
On a plane, you usually only have USB, but I’m not sure I like the idea of setting up WiFi on a plane 😅
It should choose a general instance, based on region and if not possible to pinpoint by IP, it should be a curated list of instances of which it just chooses one by random.
