Divorced but still friends
You probably didn’t checked recent politics of our countries. Still could be worse (looks south).

Some mastodon instance has it covered already. https://eigenmagic.net/@daedalus/113519360107067092
Our community !homebrewing@sopuli.xyz has for now everything beer, wine, cider… it didn’t reach the point of creating another specific, niche community. So I totally get the niche interests aren’t represented here yet and the number of homebrewers is big.
Still we get good engagement for lemmy and there are active people from industry, so I wouldn’t call it exactly small.
I still use this that way. One is group of instructors for something like Scouts, we plan trips and stuff like that but also lan parties and going to pub. There are loads of people using different DM services but all of us have email.
And we have family wishlist email where we send what we want for Christmas and birthdays, anyone can look it up and buy/make something.
From blog about derailleurs
To be fair, how long it took Michaelsoft to support ARM? What else to ship it with? BSD, IOS…
It’s basically the same as old Karel Zeman films, he uses it for highly stylized look but here it is used for invisible VFX.
It is surprising that these effects didn’t change much, now they are aided by computers.
When I see how some of our politicians can run away from justice, it isn’t that weird.
But our justice system is truly independent from the political one.
If you really need/want to, use foreign coverage of it. Maybe BBC or other English world wide news will have something (DW, 24France).
You will get mostly unbiased info and it is usually more chill than the heated debates. I use this sometimes but for my country it doesn’t cover much news.
I don’t have driving license but I did the calculation.
Tldr: repair + depreciation cost per year are equal to cheapest car leasing per month.
So I have more expensive bike in the range of 2000€ (including rack, panniers and some other stuff). On the second hand market similar bikes go for 1400€ (even older ones in this category), I count depreciation for 10 years so 60€/year (beat this with car).
Repairs/maintenance is around 100-200€ for me but I easily ride 10 000 km/year on it in every condition and surface.
I basically save for new bike per year even with public transport tickets counted in.
For few years now I want to try eating pigeon so this answer might be useful for me.
Sorry the only one that I used is in Czech. If you want to look it up:
“Pivařka” ISBN 978-80-7565-108-2
It has more general information (little bit useless for homebrewing) but half of it are recipes.
Any recipie book for homebrewing.
It just gives you ideas what to do, you have to figure out/iron out the techniques. They are for each settup different so with any book/manual you have to tinker with it yourself.
The glimpse:
If you don’t know anything about Westworld - don’t read reviews…
The mindfuck from the first season is worth it when you go blind in to it. The soundtrack is making the vibe of it even more disturbing/disorienting.
TIL, thanks.
More general answer than you expected, but…
I really like when the sound design in movies makes sense - it “plays” in radio, gramophone…
For example “Black hole sun” cover in first episode of Westworld is just brilliant and caught me off guard (I didn’t know what it is about).
Or you could leave it on
There is few theories about it. The most interesting to me is that it makes some evolutionary advantage for living in groups and raising children. There is a study that more older brothers you have the larger chance you will be gay. But sometimes it is just some gene mishap, because our sexuality is somehow hard coded.
