Justice dies in silence.
I got two from a local WA Dem organization. I got them right after I voted and the rhetoric seems to be along the lines of “don’t forget to turn in your ballot!” Nothing specific on the first. The second one was more specific and showed a table of the last four elections and whether or not a vote was cast. I’ll try to remember to post a pic later.
I like to reply to these with tons of questions, no stone unturned. If they give a reasonable answer is likely legit. I get a bunch of these because of a resume that had all my warehouse experience on it, big mistake since I don’t know who has it.
Its sorted by hot if you are seeing highly downvoted comments. Also its on top of hot because of ‘engagement’.
I just finished Badurs Gate 3 on a gaming laptop I got from a yardsale a decade ago. Victory is bittersweet and a slideshow.
I was having some problems with playback on youtube with “buffering”, random skips, the video reloading, etc. It turns out that those pauses and skips were for ads that uBlock stopped. Channels with more ad placements(new videos from large channels, large companies) would stop more often. Looking at the logs for Ublock showed me that yt does track how much of the video you have watched regardless of where you started. Say I load a video and skip to the middle. It will do a callout for time watched.
I am not sure if I’m right but anyone else could correct or expand on this as I am no expert in how youtube does anything these days.
The kids that did petitions in my experience seemed to have a chip on their shoulder to impress authority or they were related to a cop. Also, there would be prizes like a PSP or an iPod touch. Higher value stuff than any other fundraiser in the school.
I use KeePassXC its free works on what I use. The encrypted list of passwords is synced with my phone twice a day with Syncthing. Chrome had a fit with the android app to I switched to Firefox after. I selfhost it because it’s free and I know enough to troubleshoot any problems.
Not yet. I got the parts and I need to get a line wrench. Maybe a friend to help with the brake bleeding.
I’m replacing my master brake cylinder and booster in my truck. It’ll be the first time working on a car I actually own. Never done this in a GMC but i was told by a friend its easy(probably not). Was gonna have a shop do it but they are gonna charge me as much as I pay in rent.
You can, it requires a startup command: “steamdeck=0 %command%”
Put that, without quotes in the game properties. You can start the game without it, but matchmaking is blocked.
Less Mormons, but more evangelicals and JWs.
If you disconnect them you can charge them fees
That was the joke about Baptists in my hometown. It was impossible to only invite one since everyone knew everyone’s families.
Thanks for this blast from the past. RIP Gus.
I hear you but that just seems like putting kerosene on a fire.
Blood of his enemies. Keeps Brandon from coming out.
When it’s wrapped in plastic it can be individually picked. In a warehouse large quantities of stuff is stored away in bulk, sometimes palletized. A picker goes around and picks out the items from the larger bulk of items to put together a shipping order. If they were individually wrapped, whether by the warehouse or their distributor, it is for general protection(so that it feels new) and ease of handling.
Source: worked many of the lower positions at different warehouses for some years.
