Unpopular opinion: I actually like MS Teams

Look, I know this might get downvoted, but Teams is… actually fine? Yeah, it’s not perfect, but it just works. The best part is that everyone and their grandma knows how to use it because it’s the corporate standard around here.

I can’t tell you how much time I’ve saved not having to do the whole “can you hear me? let me try reconnecting… oh wait try updating your browser” dance that happens with other platforms. My company recently switched to Google Meet and honestly? It’s been a downgrade. Teams might not be the coolest kid on the block, but at least I’m not spending half my meetings troubleshooting audio and video issues.

Hey, so I canceled my YouTube Premium subscription a couple of months back and decided to pick up reading instead. It’s a different kind of entertainment, but I’m actually really enjoying it. I’ve been finding some really great books, and I’m finding it just as hard to put them down as I used to find it hard to stop binge-watching my favorite channels.

If office goes unused, value will drop, which affect bottom line, which affects boards willingness to pay out large CEO bonuses. So getting employees back into the office becomes vital for the leadership.

I just dont get it. The man rules the world’s largest country by landmass and is richer than the richest people in the universe, what the fuck are you going to do with more land like Ukraine. More importantly, why do so many people have to die for it. And how the fuck are you so incapable of admiting being in the wrong that you threten to nuke the whole world. To be honest PopOS is great. Frequent updates, good (subjective) design and ui choices, just works. If it fits your vibe I would say it is a good balance!

Look, I get what you are saying and I do agree. However, I don’t think that comparing pedophilic relations to LGBTQ struggles is fair. One is consented relationship between consenting adults, other is exploitation and high probability of setup for lifelong mental struggles from young age.

I must admit, amount of comments that are defending AI images as not child porn is truly shocking.

In my book, sexual images of children are not okay, AI generated or otherwise. Pedophiles need help, counseling and therapy. Not images that enable something I think is not acceptable in society.

I truly do believe that AI images should be subject to same standards as regular images in what content we deem appropriate or not.

Yes, this can be used to wrongfully prosecute innocent people, but it does not mean that we should freely allow AI-CP.
