Right, volumes 2-3 are independent. Volume 1 isn’t.
I don’t think your opinion is necessarily wrong, but you should give the books another try starting from 1.

I’m so absolutely ready for this. Control and Alan Wake are both such fantastic games, and there are not enough co-op narratives out there.
Don’t be silly, the whole app is JS!
You should also have a way to convert from version 1 to version 2. Then if someone loads an old version you can save it back in the new format.
lol then leave
No, it can make meds less effective
It can go in the other direction too
Yup that is my comment! Do we need a lesson in reading comprehension?
I don’t think fanboys are a myth, I think they’re over represented in your heads. My point was that commenters were complaining about what those darn apple fans were doing despite them not being in this thread.
You’re right, I hope the two of you are very happy
Honey your AI girlfriend doesn’t actually love you
implementing native CPU instructions through WASM
This is purely a nitpick, but WASM lets you run WASM instructions not native cpu instructions. Its does let you get much closer to the speed of running native instructions
I believe 3D graphics uses both to describe different coordinate systems (some are left handed and some are right)
9/10 times if I see a thread of people complaining about apple fans it’s just a big circle jerk talking about all the awful things those nasty apple fans would be doing if they were here right now.
Sorry someone put a sticker on their car lol, that sounds rough
Where are those people though? It kinda seems like y’all are just getting huffy over an imagined caricature
Are we soil posting now?
Not to be a Rust apologist, but no serious Rust developer is saying this shit.
Just spent 10 minutes researching MtGox, sounds like they were a pretty terrible bitcoin exchange and nowhere close to a bank.
Yeah but the value of my money doesn’t swing rapidly daily, and transactions process in seconds instead of minutes to hours. Oh and it’s actually accepted as a form of payment at most institutions.
Bitcoin, and all other cryptocurrencies, are securities at best and straight gambling at worst.
I don’t understand what you’re getting at? Clearly book one is meant to give a foundation to every the other books in the series. Now you’re getting all huffy because you don’t understand this book without that foundation.
I’m not saying that you’re wrong or stupid. I’m saying if you read the first book then you might actually get something out of the rest. You also might not! It’s equally possible that this series just isn’t helpful for you.
