Diplomacy has resulted in the release of more hostages than military action has. Just saying.

Potentially yes, Hamas has refused the last few ceasefire offers tabled by Egypt and Qatar however so Israel isn’t being left with options other than militarily recovering their people. The option to stop fighting is not a reasonable one given Hamas clear position that they intend to attack again…and again.

That’s fair but the reply of essentially Israel conceding defeat when they’re not losing the war seems pretty silly doesn’t it? Hamas isn’t going to be left in place when this is over, they’re not exactly in position to be making those sort of demands.

Because they want to save the hostages. Supposedly, right? That’s why they would “concede defeat” (that’s not what a ceasefire is). Regardless of what happens to Hamas, if Israel continues to oppress Gazans, more uprisings will occur. Hamas does not own the idea of resistance.

Their goals have been very clear. They want the hostages and they want the threat of Hamas gone.

No country in the world would stand to have a genocidal maniacal threat on their border repeatedly saying they’re going. Hamas has made clear their intent to repeat 10/7 Their removal is a key objective and has been since the start. Why would you ignore this?

The next violent uprising will be met with the same response. When the Arabs love their children more than they hate Jews there will be peace. That’s been true since it was first spoken.

                “Why would you ignore this?”

Because defeating Hamas is not an achievable goal. At best, they just create another group that wants to resist them as long as Israeli oppression of Palestinians continues. Hamas, whether or not you agree with them or the actions they’ve taken, believe themselves to be resisting Israel oppression. Why would you ignore this? Because you don’t think Israel is oppressing Palestinians? No, you just think the oppression is justified as long as Hamas exists. But if its not Hamas, there will be another group. Hamas is not present in the West Bank, but that doesn’t seem to be stopping Israel.

Don’t forget that President Herzog has said “It is an entire nation out there that is responsible. It’s not true this rhetoric about civilians not aware, not involved.” So what does that mean for “defeating Hamas”? How many Gazans does Israel get to kill in pursuit of this goal? Is there a limit for you?

One last point, because you’re racist and I’m done talking to you. Reverse your bullshit about Arabs and Jews and see if it makes any actual sense to you. Because a) you are painting an entire race of people with an exceptionally broad brush b) you’re conflating all Jews with Israel. Hamas has attacked Israel. Hamas not attacked “all jews” by doing so.

We’ve seen the turnaround the Abraham accords have brought to those countries when combined with the changes in the education system, it’s entirely possible. We’ve got historical evidence of maniacal regimes being removed in Germany and Japan. It’s absolutely possible.

Hamas’ founding Charter literally calls for the death of Jews, that you’re saying Hamas is only after Israel ignores their own words. Next you’re going to say that the Houthi flag doesn’t actually mean Jews it means a specific subset of those who you don’t approve of.

You can proclaim you’re done but you’ve also proven your utter ignorance on this issue so the world isn’t losing anything there. Your inevitable reply will just reinforce it too, even though you’re ‘done’
