I wish they would just choose one instance which I then can block. But no, I need to block the 5. AI-“art” com, the 20th “beautiful indian actresses” com and several nsfw coms, just today I blocked like “yiff furry BDSM trans”

At this point I don’t like browsing “c/all” anymore

I have the same issue, why can’t all the sfw posts be in a single community so i can block that and browse porn in peace 😩

Jokes aside, couldn’t there be like a nsfw-flag on each community, and then users could block/hide all communities based on that? 🤔

There is a nsfw flag that can be used to filter, the problem this person is complaining about is the fact that things like “AI art” communities are constantly being created as new communities with essentially the same content every week, and it gets tiring blocking them all the time.

I like my C/all feed to have a mix of nsfw and sfw content, I don’t likexit having any AI content. I have to block several new communities every week because AI dumbasses create new communities instead of posting in the old ones.

It would be a nice addition to Lemmy if they added the ability to filter out NSFW communities from all without filtering out normal NSFW posts on non-NSFW communities… Similar to how Reddit is by default.

Sometimes I wanna be able to browse memes that mention sex without seeing 2 people fucking above and below that meme.

Especially when people decide to tag NSFW based on swearing… seriously? Thankfully I have not seen it much on Lemmy, but this is a common occurence on Reddit dashcam subs.

One of the features of hell is that it plainly shows you how it can get worse but never shows you how it could get better.
