It isn’t “obviously true” and you would realise that if you considered the supposition more carefully.

His claims is that every breath you take contains faeces.

Firstly the linked studies show bacteria in the air, bacteria is a component of faeces but do not constitute faeces by themselves.

Secondly every breath? Yes outside of a chip making fab clean room. I see no evidence for faeces in the air in a reasonably clean room. Where’s the source? How are faeces being aerosolised ?

        It’s implausible.

But the study outdoors that detected bacteria in American Midwest cities!!! Yea there’s zero chance those cities are near farms where they spray with fertiliser. Zero.

False. You are contributing to misinformation and are therefore a shit poster.

      Here is my proof:

      https://www.popsci.com/poop-is-everywhere/

Everywhere humans exist and visit is covered with a literally stories high cloud of shit flecks. Everywhere.

Unless you are talking chipfab clean rooms every breath you take in has the shit dust of thousands in it.

So, retract your blatantly false accusation and apologize for your libel.

Linking popsci and not checking their sources which misinterprets findings from a single study of bacteria in the air… in some Midwestern US cities.

Congrats, you have the critical thinking and research skills of your average Facebook loving anti-vaxxer.

Incorrect again! There is a link in there to an aggregation by the Mayo clinic on MANY studies and articles that were used in forming the content of that webpage.

Secondly, are you trying to imply that Popular Science, one of the most rigorous and publicly approved science publishings would still be hosting an article from seven years ago if it had been refuted?

You, sir/madam/other: __________ are cherrypicking without taking the diligence to read the article for the stepping off point that it is. We are not in a formal debate, I do not need to provide you an ACA formatted reference list. I gave you a link that has data and a link to a lot more other data. It is not my fault you chose to stop when you saw the midwest air study.

Another source you can choose is your universities anthropology department, a simple 2 minute conversation with them will confirm that Yes, wherever humans exist, there is a cloud of shit particles.

You are being deliberately obstinate because you are incapable of admitting your stupid trollery was ill-formed and poorly envisioned. It’s ok, I’ll say it for you:

You’re wrong, you’re sorry, and you’ll stop doing from now on.
