Why spend $20 when your park has spinner, I don’t get what’s hard to understand?

Look at these weak children these days, with their molded plastic dizzy spinners with built in seating so you don’t fly off. Back in my day you had a round piece of steel with some bent pipes to hold onto in the feeble attempt not get thrown across the playground into a railroad tie that’s holding back the splinter filled wood chips. Oh yeah and the lead paint was flaking off the whole time… come to think about it, I think our parks department sucks.

op should take one big hit and then wait for round two and only take one hit. then stop.

you might not feel it right away but you won’t be dizzy and you’ll understand why people smoke it

lol I blew on my thumb until I got lightheaded to entertain my bandmates when we were broke and hard up the road in a previous lifetime. They thought it was funny.

    I think I discovered a life hack.

    Free buzz lol.

People feel dizzy on weed? Weird.

Personally, it just makes me concentrate, relax and notice more things than I would otherwise.

What kind of weed helps concentration? The kind I’ve had makes me lose interest in my own sentences halfway through.

That probably means you should take less bro.

Everyone responds differently so really to find what helps you concentrate you need to experiment with different products and formulations. It might end up being none of them, too.

I have ADHD and I take edibles from time to time. Edibles make me concentrate and notice things. Also, I take a dose appropriate for my tolerance (which is rather low, so I take 5-10 mg depending on the time of day). So I’m high, but I’m not so high I’m detached from reality or near a coma.

Edit: Sativa makes me have a head high and Indica makes me sleepy af, because of the body high. So Sativa edibles are what I take for concentration.

    • Yeah. Some of us suffer from a paradoxical effect, where the entire time we’re high, we feel like we’re in zero-G, which is a lot like being made dizzy. It makes me so sick, I’m on the verge of puking. The. Entire. Time. 4-6 hours of being nauseous. It sucks, and I’m pissed about it.

I didn’t get it from mom; she was a pot smoker back in the day, and my sister is fine with it, so I guess I just got unlucky.

I’ve only ever felt my head spinning once on weed and it was my first time when I took 30 mg of edibles and had a full blown episode of thinking I time looped 6 times in a row while looking in the mirror (honestly, a really bad experience).

Note that I now know that my appropriate dosage is 5-10 mg and 10 mg is a solid high while 5 mg is just a pleasant buzz (akin to taking a few glasses of alcohol, but not being drunk). You might be taking too much for your body and inhaling isn’t exactly super accurate dosage. Not everyone has the same tolerance. My mother can tolerate 25 mg; if I were to take that much I’d bad trip like the first time on that 30 mg gummy. I’d take a very low dose if I was you, like 2 mg edibles as a start, that way you know what dose you’re taking.

        • I’m in a state where it’s legal, and I’ve been experimenting since the late 80’s. I’ve had a wide variety of doses of pot.

If it’s enough for me to notice more than a little fuzzy-headed, I get sick. Yes, there’s a threshold below which I don’t get sick, but I also don’t get a buzz.

Seems weird that you go from no buzz, to straight sick if the dose is only a few mgs apart, maybe it’s just that you haven’t found a strain that your body reacts well to. With my prescribed ADHD meds, which are amphetamines and dexotroamphetamines (powerful psychoactives, way stronger and dangerous compared to weed), there is a difference of about 10mg where my tolerance is in the perfect zone for no side effects, before full side effects (and that’s with the brand I tolerate).

I had to go through 5 different ADHD meds to get the perfect one my body didn’t reject and then I went through 3 dosage adjustments of the last med to finally get the perfect prescription that wouldn’t make me sick (ADHD meds make you sick differently, it’s mostly nausea, headaches and gastro issues that can be quite severe). It seems to me like you haven’t found the perfect “prescription” of weed for yourself. Not that you even have to try to if you don’t need weed for medical reasons anyway, but that’s just what it seems like to me.

Psychoactive drugs tend to be hard to prescribe to people that have low tolerances (such as myself). I was able to find my perfect weed dosage and strain before I was able to find the proper ADHD ones (since I had to go see the doc repeatedly for ADHD drugs over the course of 4 years of testing, whereas weed was recreational already, so all I had to do was order some and test over a few months myself, no doctor visit needed).

Hopefully you get a good dosage if you’re trying to find it for medical reasons.
