This is coming from Glenn Greenwald, a known Putin shill, so all this could mean is the efforts to maintain truth on Wikipedia, since Ruzzia and her allies worldwide (including the American Republican party, or at least the ‘MAGA’ portion) constantly seek to obfuscate the truth and alter articles critical of them, their positions, their narratives.
Now I’m not saying there isn’t a shred of truth, there usually is with shills like Greenwald, so I’m sure the US and their allies are actively involved in doing something similar, but nobody lies like the current Ruzzian regime and their allies, their people are so misinformed and propagandized that they wouldn’t know the truth if it smacked them over the head.

Good on you fighting for truth online
Thank you for the sources. Greenwald is so far right and has gone so far off the deep end of conspiracy theory stuff that it really doesn’t make sense to believe anything he says.
he’s a journalist. if you don’t like what he prints, you might ask yourself why.
Ok.
To assume the truth of something only based on profession or historical accomplishments is an appeal to authority fallacy.
Done.
“He’s a journalist!” So?
“He once exposed this great story!” So?
Neither are actual arguments of the truth of current statements.
if you think he’s not a journalist it’s on you to provide a reason. he investigates and publishes news stories. he’s a journalist.
To assume the truth of something only based on profession or historical accomplishments is an appeal to authority fallacy.
that’s not what’s happening here. i didn’t say it’s not true. i said he’s a journalist. if you can disprove what he said, you should.
Wow so both Ruzzia and Amerikkka edit Wikipedia for propaganda purposes. 🤯
American intelligence agencies are just fighting back with truth not propaganda 😉
Haha, very true patriot! 🦅 🦅
“Glenn Greenwald, a known Putin shill”
A yes, Snowden and everyone involved are simply Russian shills!
Where did he mention Snowden?
greenwald is not a putin shill.
you dropped your crown 👑
I am shocked! The CIA and the FBI? The bastions of liberty and justice?
They Grayzone has also done investigative reporting into the inner workings of Wikipedia. Spoiler: it’s part of the imperial propaganda machine, and that’s partly by design.
What isn’t
One of the stories censored by the FBI on Twitter was the scandal surrounding the laptop of Hunter Biden, son of the current US president, revealing incriminating emails alleging corrupt acts committed by President Biden. At the request of US authorities, this story was silenced by all available means within the platform, according to documents released by Musk.
These documents also revealed that Twitter assisted the US military in online propaganda campaigns and censorship of “anti-Ukrainian [NATO] narratives” at the request of various US state agencies.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has also admitted that Facebook, at the direct request of the FBI, censored information that would have been damaging to President Joe Biden’s 2020 election campaign.
“I am immune to propaganda”
Unsurprising
about half of this article is about Musky bois “Twitter Files” Im not sure how much I believe the other half unfortunately. the Twitter files were lukewarm at best.
This might be true, but I will take anything that comes from Larry Sanger with a pinch of salt. Dude has been pretty much exclusively hanging out with right wing nutjobs since 2020 and was at one point spreading misinformation against Covid-19 vaccines.
I hadn’t heard this so I did a search to see what you were talking about. One of the first things that comes up is a quote from this guy whining that he doesn’t trust Wikipedia anymore because they don’t allow Daily Mail or Fox News as sources of reliable information. You know, the gossip rag Daily Mail that posts anything “sources say” for clicks, and the same Fox News that was found to be flat out lying to its viewers on a number of sociopolitical issues. What a putz.
It should be obvious to anyone that has ever read a Wikipedia page relating to geopolitics.
Did they at least donate properly to fund it or we are all holding those bags so they can play their stupid games?
CI(N)A(TO)-pe(FBI)a?
Typical Tuesday…
Lots of claims in this article, yet very little to substantiate the claims, or any counter arguments regarding them. That’s not proper journalism at all.
