Where #do you #think you #are?
Not sermon. “Semon”. It’s Jamaican cum.
I guess. Not really.
“Peak Design has not provided customer information to the police and would only do so under the order of a subpoena"
That’s not the same as saying “We are against our employees calling the police when they see a suspect in our store.” after an employee does that. That’s what I’m talking about.
On the other hand, very few corporations would volunteer data without a court order. That’s normal. We’re not talking about that. We’re talking about coming out and saying, “We don’t support our employees calling the police on a suspect.” That’s something very few—or no—corporations would do.
It’s two very different statements and situations.
So, I guess boycott every corporation. 🤷🏼♂️
Like, not even your favorite non-profit would say that. You’re literally expecting the impossible.
Riiight. 'Cause that’s something any corporation would say, ever.
And say what?
I love how people are blaming McDonald’s—and boycotting them—for the actions of a single employee. How does that make any sense?
Even worse is when they edit their post to add “Never mind, figured it out.”
both the arrest and conviction of the suspect
Makes perfect sense, but that’s just a matter of time.
might not be eligible for [the NYPD] part of the reward.
OK, so maybe they won’t be getting 10k of the 60k. They would still get 50k if he’s convicted. So many people are definitively saying that they’re getting none of the money, and that makes no sense.
I was thinking the same thing. So why is everyone on Lemmy saying “The snitch didn’t even get the money, so they did it for nothing!”
Anyone have a citation about the rat not getting the money? People keep saying that, but I haven’t seen a single article posted about it.

Same with Walmart. The scales just don’t seem to care.
I have not. I use Fusion for CAD and CAM for a CNC router.
I’ve been learning GIMP to replace Photoshop in preparation. So far, so good, but there are still things about GIMP I just dont get. Like, it’s seems impossible to paint onto a fully transparent layer because the paint tool doesn’t modify the mask as it goes. I don’t even want that layer to have an alpha channel, but it seems like you have no choice if you want a transparent layer.
If you try to paint on a transparent layer, you just get… nothing. It’s so trivial in Photoshop to make a new layer and just paint into it, and I can’t figure it out at all in GIMP. (I really should ask in a forum, but I also feel like I shouldn’t have to.)
Being able to script in Python to simulate Photoshop actions is both awesome and crappy. It’s awesome because of how powerful it is, but crappy that I can’t just whip up an action in seconds to make a quick, repeatable edit.
I guess I’ll have to use a VM to run Autodesk Fusion. ☹️
Same. This is the best photo editor I’ve used on Android. The UI takes some getting used to, but it can do everything OP said, even the clipboard stuff. (Mostly. See below.)
It has curves, cloning, painting, cropping, rotating, resizing, add text, add image, add arbitrary shapes, and more and more. It can even make animated GIFs or extract frames from GIFs.
It’s like Photoshop but not from Adobe. I paid for the pro version forever ago and have been using it for years.
Clipboard stuff: It can’t open the clipboard as a file that I can tell, but you can paste the clipboard into an image using the “text/image” function. You can even have it resize the pasted image to fit the current document size. So you make a new document that’s the size you want, use Text/Image to paste it in with that setting emabled.
And then you can export the current image to the clipboard using the normal save feature. Or save it to an actual file.
I used to love that app, but it’s dead and only supports 32 bit devices. I can’t install it on my Pixel 7 Pro.
I don’t think you even understood the question. Android has this, but it’s tied to Google. OP os asking if there’s an alternative non-Google solution.
They have their own mind virus which makes them think that meek, innocent, naive hyperfeminity is the only valid femininity. They watch anime[1] and terribly written women in film. Both of which infantilize women. And they watch women get dominated by men in porn.
The concept of femininity in these boys’ heads is completely divorced from what it actually means to be a woman. To be a human being. They want all women to dress in school girl outfits, short skirts, or satin dresses. Women who should spend 100% of their time trying to please their husband, a word that historically means “a man who manages a property”. They see women as sexy property.
As a bonus, they all want “trad wives” and yet they vote for politicians that make it impossible to survive on a single income unless they want to live in a trailer park.
Thirteen anime fans couldn’t handle this comment.
Anime fans, miss me with your examples of “badass” women in anime. They all still look like little girls 90% of the time. ↩︎
But their username has “Lemmy” in it. It’s a Lemmy post
