Chromium is being used in 70% of browsers
To me, I don’t think that should be an issue in anything. That’s up to browser makers. They are able to use whatever they want, and they will use whatever is easiest/best for their usage. They are also free to use WebKit (Safari’s engine), Gecko (Mozilla), or roll their own. This just sounds like you want to punish someone because they made something everyone preferred just because everyone preferred it.
It’s different when you are “forced” to use it (use ours or we won’t let you on our devices, like iOS, or use ours and we will lower/cut our fees for other things you want/need, like many different companies). But when the public is truly free to use what they want and they all want the same thing, then it shouldn’t be used as a reason to punish them.

“If you’re here illegally, you better be looking over your shoulder.”
They’ve also mentioned along the lines of “if you are here illegally, then you’ve already committed a crime”.
The Apple TV runs the Apple TV app.
It’s not a hardware issue that tracks you, it’s every app baked into it which has its own privacy policies.
Except you have needed to have an iPhone to use an Apple TV, and to get around it required a workaround that wasn’t disclosed. It’s happened before, it can happen again.
Apple also telemetries the hell out of your data. The best they offer against this is to prevent them from using it for “targeted” marketing, but that doesn’t really mean much as Apple clearly states:
We provide some non-personal data to our advertisers and strategic partners that work with Apple to provide our products and services, help Apple market to customers, and sell ads on Apple’s behalf to display on the App Store and Apple News and Stocks.
Seriously, this myth of “Apple = Privacy/no ads” needs to go away.
Going to be blunt, looks like they took the original assets and put them thru an AI to with the prompt of “upscale these in the art style of Overwatch and Fortnite”.

White out marker the Steam Deck?
Trump inherited a great economy from Obama, but ran it into the ground. (His 2018 tax cuts, etc …) Trump got out just as the consequences of his actions started to happen, just as Biden became president. This left Biden with a crashed economy which he worked hard to improve during his election (the US is considered the best and strongest economy after COVID).
Now, just because it’s doing the best, it doesn’t mean everyone is in the best shape. So people are just remembering that the economy on the surface looked better during Trump ) because of Obama) and looked worse during Biden (because of Trump) and assumed that the surface was the same underneath.
What will be really interesting is that the economy isn’t as solid this time for Trump so he’s most likely going to do even more economical damage to the US that will cause it to take even longer to fix for the next president(s).
Don’t forget, only a few weeks ago we had “Armed Militia ‘Hunting FEMA’ Causes Hurricane Responders to Evacuate”.
FEMA has also been accused by former president Donald Trump and other Republicans of not being able to respond well enough to Helene because it had diverted disaster relief funds to help migrants. That is not true
This wouldn’t help FEMA workers feel safe.
I like how you say this and your instance is “sh. It just works”
Maybe used to 30 seconds being average?
Been a few years since I bothered. But, no never was. It was used on a Nexus S, Nexus 5, Nexus 10, and a Samsung Tab S3. All when they were new devices.
The Tab S3 was the last attempt years ago, but after so many attempts and fails, I just moved on.
And if it had been a low spec device issue, the system would freeze, not the app only.
